Here we went! In late September 2021 the second annual Bayklif retreat took place directly at lake Starnberg in Tutzing. ‘What’s Bayklif?’, you may ask. The Bavarian Network for Climate Research is one of our funders, who actually makes our MintBio research project possible, which is one of several cooperative research projects which are to give insight into the development of ecosystems under the impact of climate change in Bavaria. At the retreat all of us could meet, speak and exchange ideas. Workshops facilitated digging into topics like science management, education and research prospects for the future. Every group’s presentation gave insight to their progress and goals. We worked on research efficiency, sustainability and communication. Our goal was to improve joint collaboration, which we very much look forward to.
